The planning of a project begins when the site analysis, construction type and construction cost have already been determined. The site location determines how the varying behaviour of the natural environment will effect the project as well in terms of the basic physical needs of its inhabitants; the construction type is the generalized form established by government agencies identifying the special use determined by a number of factors; the cost implies the financial analysis of land, labour, and materials that must conform to a budget.
The programming of a project is the research and decision-making process that identifies the scope of work to be designed.
The (spatial) organisation of the project is determined by developing several logical schemes that examine the basic functionality and effects of internal & external project elements in relation to one another as well as its inhabitants.
